How do I become a member of UNM Gaming Society?

Do I have to be a member to participate in events?
Most of the events that we host are only available to our members. So join us! Because why not?
When does the Gaming Room open?
The Gaming Room is open every Monday to Friday from 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM. On Saturday, the room opens from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Please note that opening hours on weekends and public holidays are subject to the availability of committee members.
What can I do in the Gaming Room?
You can come talk to us, or ask around about our events, or book a gaming session for our board games or consoles that are available!
Who do I consult to start my gaming session?
If you require assistance or wish to begin your gaming session, do not hesitate to consult any of our committee members, which can be found at the committee table to the left of the entrance upon entering the Gaming Room.
How are rates for gaming sessions counted?
We have different rates for each of our gaming sessions. These hourly rates are on a per person basis and are usually counted per hour. UNM Gaming Society members get a discount on all normal rates so become a member now!
Can I bring my own console or console games to the Gaming Room for my gaming session?
Yep, but we'll still be charging you a specific rate to cover for either the use of our consoles and/or TVs.
Can I rent board games or gaming equipment from the Gaming Room?
Yup! Let us know what you'd like to rent at least one day prior to your rental date. We will let you know if it is available, and you can come to the Gaming Room to pick up what you're renting.
Can I rent the entire Gaming Room?
Yep! Let us know when you'd like to rent the entire Gaming Room one week prior to your rental date. The rate for renting the entire Gaming Room is RM50/hour.
Do I need to pay to play Dungeons & Dragons?
Nope. However, you do need to be a member. For members, D&D sessions on Thursdays are completely free!
Can I take the plushies on the red couch home?
Nuh-uh. Nope. Please don't.
How do I propose a collaboration with UNM Gaming Society?
